The intent of Review Meeting on Draft of National Policy of Medicinal and Aromatic Plants (MAPS) was to call 50 distinguished and prominent intellectuals and officials (Govt.-Non Govt.) to participate and to contribute for making a perfect and complete National Policy of MAPs. We hope to see a major transformation in the sector in terms of better bio-diversity, better agro-economics for farmers, multifold increase in employment and industry turn, availability of Quality raw material for manufacturing of AYUSH drugs and over-all improvement of Indian Medicinal System across the globe. Such a meet was not yet conducted by any agency or organization on this topic.
